Moving Mirrors is a dance class focusing on empowering participants to become independent in a rigorous facilitated exploration of the body and mind. We will discover and push beyond the edges of our physical limitations, by flowing through constant instances of contracting, folding, and reaching, shifting between various physical states and forces such as continuous motion, spiral/rotation, sequential articulation, and momentum. Letting the body be inspired and shaped by an eclectic mix of house music, gospel, rock and disco. This intermediate class is open to all movers ages 15yrs+ who are ready to sweat, laugh, and uncover their creativity. Some movement/contemporary dance experience is highly encouraged.
